snow day? south carolina? what?

i made the hour long treck up to rock hill today... i'm laying in my temporary bed for the week now, ready to crash, it's been such a long day!
we got here around 4 and met melody's host family. (i'm staying here with them for the rest of the week, then moving into my more permanent living situation next weekend. the family is really hospitable and welcoming. i found out around 530 that school is canceled tomorrow. i'm about 50% bummed and 50% pumped... 'm mostly excited because i can sleep in! but i'm really ready to get things rolling. i'll keep you updated on the rest of the week and when things get started :)

ps: there is NO snow on the ground... ohhhh southerners.

student teaching... yikes

I'm renovating this blog... and reviving it. I've had it for around three years now, and hardly ever post on it... but I'm leaving for student teaching in a matter of hours... and i know that the next 10 weeks are going to be CRAZY! so if you want to keep up with me and hear how things are going, this will probably be the best venue :)
